The Yaris is the lowest priced Toyota, but more importantly, it is one of the most fuel efficient vehicles on the market today.  It is ranked fifth overall, and it is the top non-hybrid car.  The Yaris gets 36 mpg Hwy, 29 mpg City.  It is listed at a price of  $12,205 – $15,125.   The Yaris is a perfect case of inexpensive, but not cheap. All Yaris models are powered through the front wheels by a 1.5-liter engine with an output of 106 horsepower. A five-speed manual transmission is standard while a four-speed automatic is optional.
